This thermometer determines the temperature of foods quickly and accurately (less that 10 seconds to stable). The Taylor Instant Read Thermometer is protected by a shatterproof plastic lens. The thermometer displays temperature form 0° to 220° F, so it can be used for a variety of foods. The thermometer has a 1” magnified dial and a 5″ stainless steel stem. The thermometer can be used for multiple purposes (meat, casseroles, soups, grilling, etc.). Protect the thermometer during storage with the included pocket sleeve. The thermometer is NSF certified. Helpful hints: Instant read pocket thermometers are not meant to be left in food during cooking. The plastic lens could melt and become damaged with excessive heat.
