Just press the button and the grill sears at 500° F (260° C) then switches to your selected grilling temperature. The 100 sq. in. nonstick cooking surface has plenty of space for cooking a variety of meats and veggies. You ll get quick delicious meals on the table in less than 10 minutes. As you grill fat is directed by the cooking surface away from your food into the removable drip tray. The grill is easy to clean. Simply wipe the nonstick plates clean after they cool. The removable drip tray is dishwasher safe. Besides meat and vegetables the grill is great for making hot sandwiches like paninis and grilled cheese with a crispy finish.
