The couple shaft can also be used with multiple other attachments for edging, cultivating, and brush cutting (sold separately). The Makita-built brushless motor delivers up to 7,000 RPM with String Trimmer Attachment and 3,940 FPM with 10 in. Pole Saw Attachment.
