In addition, the added fertilizer thickens grass to crowd out future weeds and help prevent runoff. Scotts® Turf Builder® Bonus® S Southern Weed & FeedF2 is for use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Carpetgrass only. Apply when grass and weeds are actively growing. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 5 ¼. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 11. This product must be watered in immediately after application. Do not apply during winter dormancy period – wait until after the third mowing of the season to apply. Do not apply with a hand-held spreader.
