This burger press produces uniform 1/4 or 1/2 pound burger patties by flattening the meat into perfectly round shapes with a dimple in the middle. The dimple keeps the burger from puffing up in the center which allows the juice to remain in the rest of the burger. It has a nylon grip removable handle and plastic base with lid. The handle detaches for easy cleanup. The press is also dishwasher safe.
