Dryer Element Kit for Whirlpool includes DE838 (279838) N197 3387134 3392519. N197 is a High Limit Thermostat and Thermal Fuse for the Heater. 309* degree F Thermal Fuse with L221-65* degree F Limit Thermostat (Replacement for 279816). 3387134 is the Operating Thermostat rated at L155*-25* differential with a 120 Volt 2 Watt Heat Anticipator. The 2 outside terminals are 1/4 male & the 2 inside terminals are 3/16 male. 3392519 is the thermal fuse is 91*C / 196*F & has 3/16 terminals please check yours some have terminals. DE838 is the Dryer element replacement for 279838. The element is rated at 5400 Watts 240 Volts and has 2- 5/16 male terminals. This is like the original installation on certain models.
