This fertilizer utilizes Scotts Secure Nutrients, a coated, patented particle that secures nutrients until your turf needs them, resulting in a fed lawn for up to 6 months. Scotts Turf Builder Ultrafeed can be used on all grass types. Apply to a wet or dry lawn in the spring to early summer for warm-season grass types, or spring or fall for cool-season grass types. We recommend using a Scotts spreader to apply this product. For fast results, lightly water in. If you are in the North and need to kill dandelions, prevent crabgrass, and feed your lawn, team up with Scotts Turf Builder Triple Action. If you are in the South and need to kill dollarweed and clover, prevent and kill fire ants for up to 6 months and feed your lawn, use Scotts Turf Builder Triple Action Southern.
